Read moreIt's a lot better than my old hood. The slanted steel legs that hold the hood didn't have chamfers on the screw holes, thus the screws protruded and made moving the upright covers difficult. The unit looks fantastic and complements my GE appliances perfectly, however it displays every finger that touches it.
This mount range hood is a beautiful piece that adds elegance to my kitchen and is really strong. So gorgeous, works wonderfully, and is well worth the money.

We are very happy with the range's quality and affordability; it is attractively designed, constructed of excellent materials, and functions admirably. There are only a few very minor drawbacks, including the following: (1) the oven takes a while to heat up; (2) the oven blow out is on the front of the appliance rather than the back so that hot air can escape through a hood or vent; and (3) placing the burner controls on the front of the range is not the best design because any leaning against the appliance causes the controls to click for ignition.
